How can I improve my sentence correction?

I recently took the GMAT and did horrible. No matter how hard I study I seem to get many of these questions wrong. I've used Kaplan, Princeton Review, The Official GMAT 10th and 11th edition and even GMAT for Dummies! Please help!!!

I'm guessing from the fact you say you did "horrible" and not "horribly" that all the test-taking strategies you've absorbed are not helping you get past your lack of basic grammatical knowledge. Instead of GMAT-specific study material, try Strunk and White's Elements of Style, or Grammar for Dummies. If you need more focused help, consider a tutor or a community college class.
