can anyone explain in algebra for dummies how to divide polynomials?

I really struggle with algebra and would like to know if anyone can explain in algebra for dummies terms how to divide polynomials this is an example (3x3 - 27x2 + 54x) ÷ (x - 3). Maybe you could give me a place to go online that will break things down very very simple in English, for my future algebra problems

This has a good explanation...

Algebra For Dummies

algebra for dummies
Boolean Algebra?

OK. I have read my text book too many times to count. I am great with math and have a 4.0 in my electrical engineering classes up to this point.

Can anyone explain it in a "Boolean Algebra for Dummies" kind of way. Much appreciated.

BTW it has to do with Digital circuits and logic gates.

Have a look at some ladder diagrams (PLC programming). They represent relay logic circuits and basically every rung in a ladder is a boolean statement of: relay = contact a and/or contact b etc.
Even quite complicated boolean expressions look simple when drawn as ladder diagram. It also helps understand why a or (a and b) = a or why a or (not a and b) = a and b. You simply see the flow of "logical current".
Try http://www.plcs.net/contents.shtml and read links under "creating programs" header. Just to get that simple idea (even without timers, counters and so on)
In ladder "and" is in series and "or" is in parallel. "not" is normally closed contact.
If you need to "not" an expression then invert its contents:
not (a and b) = not a or not b
not (a or b) = not a and not b
or use another "relay" bit to store (a and b) and use it as normally closed later.

Are there any online math resources out there?

I'm attempting to study for my ACT. In a need of bumping it up by 5 points (which is going to be a ton of studying) I cannot find any of my math notes from geometry. I mean, the basic algebra questions are fairly simple, but all the trigonometry ones I learned in geometry are so hard! (cos/sin/tan) I forgot all of it and I need to study for it.

I obviously don't any math books :/ (I hate math!)

I have the ACT book guide...but I need more because I really need that score of 28. Does anyone know any good online math resources that could help me relearn all of those things I forgot (and are free too!)
Also, are there any books out there (maybe math for Dummies or something?)
Gahh I really need help with this :/ thanks!
