Algebra(pre) @ 2:25am Saturday night.......OMFG?

Sigh,....This is what my life has come to, j/k
Anyway guys I know this may be alot to ask but I really need help, I need this algebra problem explained to me in "for dummies" type english
2(5x+1)+5(x-2)

This isn't a equation so I assume you're being asked to simplify that expression.

To simplify it, you must multiply out the brackets (multiply everything in the bracket by the number outside).

2(5x + 1) + 5(x - 2)

= 10x + 2 + 5x - 10

= 15x - 8
