New to circular saws. Need books or videos woth instructions for beginners.?
Retired and not been very handy but want to learn basic carpentry skills. Would like books or videos to help me get started as in something like circular saws for dummies !!
There are a number of websites linked to various home workshop magazines that have articles and downloadable or printable instructions. Workbench, Home Handyman and Fine Woodworking are all good. Also try Skil, Black and Decker and Porter Cable websites. They're all known for their circular saws and would probably be a place to start. You might also try Googling circular saw instructions and see what you get. Only one thing--if you don't know how to use the thing leave it in the box. Your fingers will thank you!
