Where can I see Pleiades in the southern California sky?
I want to take my boyfriend on a special date stargazing out in the desert, but I'm not very good at stargazing or astronomy. He has a special interest in Pleiades, but I don't know where to find it. Can someone give me an idiot's guide? Like "it's just south of Orien" or it's "left of the Southern Cross" ? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated as well. Thank you !
Download a software called stellarium.Pleiades is very bright and open you can found it very well it is hazy too.
