computer for Dummies.I need help?

if there is a recipe in a book and I want to put it into the computer too hard? When I look up a recipe on the computer
and I want to transfer it too hard? Please give me the correct terminology and I will look it up in internet for Dummies. Jusr give me a place to start.
sometimes a person takes a recipe of the internet (like in Q&A) answers with a recipe of the internet where there is blue letters and you can click on to see. I guess this is just to far over my head. I have a scanner on my printer is that the same thing that I make copies from? I want to look it up somewhere
Please don't insult me we are not all born brilliant. I see some people truly want to help but I am not giving enough info and I understand that also I remember cut and paste
david and 2sx you have the right idea
2Xs sorry if you come back and add anything at all .

Umm.. Not real sure what you're asking but I think the answer may be "copy & paste" Right click>select all>copy. Open destination folder, right click>paste.
Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for...
