How do I choose the right PC for me?
Hello,
I am making my first foray into the pc buying market and just wondered if anyone know a good way to find out what sort of spec I should be looking for. I have had a look at some buyers guides online which have helped a little, but they are a little too technical for me and often hopelessly out of date.
If anyone knows a good site that can give me an idiots guide to choosing the right PC then that would be worthy of 10 points.
If you yourself are an expert then some advice would be appreciated. What I'm after is a decent gaming PC (not state of the art), be able to play/copy/store music and films, and some web browsing. Something upgradeable would also be handy for the future.
Thanks in advance
See Novatech's site. They do what looks like a good value gaming machine. And they offer a lifetime helpline. But of course everybody will give a different recommendation and often rubbish other peoples. But beware, the word 'gaming' introduces a lot of bling, overkill and therefore over pricing.
