I need help with my Mac Imovie?

I got some videos off of limewire and want to make a video remix. Can someone give me a Imovie for dummies or something lol. Plus I added one music video on there and can't hear the music on it. Why is that?

You should have and use Idvd, it much easier and there is a good help that comes with the software.
