music theory for dummies
Wanna start learning guitar and need help for choosing the best method...?

Actually i don't know where to start it from. from Guitar for dummies or The new complete guitarist by richard chapman or Hel Leonardo guitar method by will schmid and greg koch(best seller on amazon.com)...
The other thing here is that i don't know what other boox should i read to get ready for entering a musical college. although i know that learning music never ends and i should read so many boox, I need a place to start.
I think the topics that I have to know about are: (plus name of the boox that I know for each)
Harmony (Harmony by piston)
Ear training (Perfect pitch and relative pitch methods)
Sight-reading (Can u name a Great -CD/DVD contained- sight reading method?)
Theory (maybe music Theory for dummies or music theory for guitarists: everything you ever wanted to know but were afraid to ask by Tom kolb)

should i start harmony by piston or it's NOW enough to read theory for dummies?

please say your opinion about those boox and also say your suggestions.

Thx.

Its cool that you're learning guitar, its a great instrument!

Well you should probably take a few lessons first get your basics down.
Then Id suggest learning tabs, so you could figure out songs.
Then Theory ( its true what you said, you never stop learning!!)
With theory learn your scales/modes. Notation stuff like that. Also you can learn from your influences (guitar mags are always good too)
About the whole perfect pitch(and relative methods) Ive never tried them, Ive heard about them but 'Could it be real' honestly I dont know if thats a waste or not but when you play guitar or any other instrument. Your ears get trained like when you playing thats what your doing trainning your ears. As for the books.I dont really have many guitar books but Read some reviews on Amazon or the internet and go with the one with the best reviews first and see how you like it. (i recommend you go with the one the most informative as well)

Hope this helped.
