The Real Colon Cleanse: Great Tips On How You Can Flush Out The Unwanted Waste And Toxins From Your Body And Get Your Health Back Into Balance

Have you ever had your toilets overflow and just watched the waste from the toilette bowl infest the floors of your house? Have you ever walked in New York City or any major city in the world, watched the sewer system overflow into the streets and just watch people running for their lives to avoid the smell of the waste? Nasty it sounds I know. Try to imagine it, but at the same time try not to. You might stop reading this entry to go throw up, but you’ll miss one of the biggest "under the radar" lessons in your life. In a sense these two examples are what we do to our bodies when we do not defecate. "Defecate! What the hell does that word mean?" Ok ,ok, you know, doing the #2 when you go to the bathroom. So basically, if we do not defecate at least twice per day, what happens is the toxins that is sitting in our colon gets reabsorbed back into our blood stream. We are now poisoning our body. Especially if you are slim and cannot gain weight for the life of you, if you are not defecating twice per day, you as well are poisoning your body. The same way the overflow from the toilets in your house infesting the floors, or the waste from the sewer system infesting the streets of any city, is an example of what we do to our bodies when we are not having 2-3 healthy bowel movements per day. Now you see why you are getting fatter and fatter every year? It’s just simple arithmetic my friends.

Whenever I do one of my health consultations the first question I ask my client is:" How many times per day do you defecate?" Why do I ask this question? Next to digestion, elimination is the most important element to having a healthy body. It doesn’t matter how balanced your daily diet is, or how many times you exercise per week, or how many vitamins you take in per day, it all starts with your digestive tract and your ability to eliminate the wastes from your colon multiple times per day. If you are not defecating at least 2-3 times per day, your colon will find another way to get rid of these deadly toxins. Did you know that 87% of all diseases in the body start from the "gut"? Think about it. Toxins are sitting in your colon. Your body is trying to get rid of these toxins. It needs your colon to do it’s job. The problem is our colon is a muscle that has been weakened throughout the years due to stress, preservatives, and use of antibiotics.

More than 5,000 strains of bacteria are supposed to be growing in your digestive tract. They stimulate your immune system, promote healthy digestion, and may reduce gas and bloating. Because of the damage we do to our bodies and our colon, we lose this healthy bacteria. Did you know people who took antibiotics for 5 days reduced the disease fighting strains in their system by 30%? Even though they may return to normal, a brief decline can allow harmful microorganisms to thrive. As a result you can get yeasts, urinary tract infections or diarrhea.

You’re probably thinking, "Why do I want healthy bacteria in my body?" Because it’s healthy! You need the healthy bacteria to fight off these microorganisms sitting on the walls of your colon. They are like little soldiers going into your colon fighting off the bad guys.

So the question is, "What’s the solution?" The answer is Probiotics.  Here are a few questions my clients ask me that you may have as well:

Q: What foods can I buy that may contain Probiotics?

A: A small amount of Probiotics can be found in dairy products. Cultured dairy products provide a cool, moist environment for bacteria to thrive in. The problem with this is you may need to take in quite a bit of dairy to get the healthy bacteria needed for you to have 2-3 bowel movements per day. If you are lactose intolerant then this might not apply to you.

Q: Can I get probiotics as a supplement rather than alter my diet?

A: Absolutely.  As a matter of fact you’ll get more bacteria from most capsules than you would from a container of yogurt. If you are on antibiotics, popping a Probiotics supplement may lower your risks of side effects, like diarrhea, by 52%.

Q: When should I take Probiotics?

A: Everyday. I personally recommend taking Probiotics at night before you go to bed. Usually your body’s PH alkaline level is at its highest in the evening. I believe taking Probiotics daily is the truest form of colon cleansing. If you have a major problem with constipation and you have a lot of waste you need to flush out, then I would recommend taking in a therapeutic dosage of Probiotics. A therapeutic dosage consists of taking in 2 to 3 capsules of Probiotics in the morning before you eat breakfast, 2 to3 at night before you go to bed, and one or two capsules before each meal. You always want to drink a glass of water with your Probiotics intake as well. Once you are taking Probiotics you’ll notice your stool will get softer. Even if you already go at least twice per day, if your waste is coming out pretty hard, and your struggling to get it out of your colon while sitting on the toilette, then you have some major issues with your digestion and your colon.

Here’s the bottom line. Making Probiotics a part of your daily lifestyle is not a luxury for you. It is now a necessity more than ever.
