Why does my boyfriend call me these "endearing names"?

I've been with my bf on-off for 5 years now, and his choice of names is quite funny/odd.

While other people call their bf/gf "honey" or sweetheart, he calls me the following: pugly, ugly, shorty, nerdass, stinky, dummy, dopey, dippy.

It's kind of amusing in a weird way, as I return the favor, but is this common with other couples?
lol, he says it in a funny way. I call him "nazi nose, dumbo ears, etc."

Dump him. What he says is demeaning to you.I don't find it amusing if he call you these names in front of other people.He must have poor self esteem to make fun of you. Find someone who treats you with respect.
