Microsoft Windows 7 help please?

Okay, I am a bit of a Microsoft Windows dummy so I need some help.

I currently have a Desktop PC Windows XP which I wish to upgrade to Windows 7. It has all the necessary hardware for Windows 7 32-bit (2GB RAM, 512MB Graphics Card etc etc.) I just have a few simple questions of upgrading and recovery/reinstalling.

All my files and applications on my XP are on my laptop and on a backup drive, which is good. I am aware that upgrading from XP to 7 is a clean installation rather than an upgrade.

Does this mean that during the installation or before that the hard disk has to be formatted or does the installation do this for you? I am not fussed over losing everything on my hard drive and I want the hard drive to be refreshed and feel like new.

Another matter: recovery/reinstalling. If my PC was to just break down (with Windows 7 installed), could I use the same installation disk used at the beginning to reinstall Windows 7 onto the computer?

Hi friend,

to make this thing work follow this instruction:
- Start you PC (press F2 or Del to view the bios setup
- Configure your device setting, you must prioritize first the CD-Rom Drive
- Save and Exit setup
- insert the windows 7 installer
- you will notice (press any key to run on CD ROM) press any key
- follow as installation procedure
- on installation, you will see part that contain your DRIVER HDD (C: and D:)
- Click the drive you want to delete
- click the drive you delete then format, then new, insert the partition size
-select the driver you want the windows 7 to be installed
- next
- follow installation
no more worries

Your windows 7 is now on installation process.

Yes you can use the same installer when you like to reinstall or recover.

Good luck on your installation. i know you can do it just follow my instruction. :)

for more guide i'll share you some link.
