How Do you Wire a Stereo on a Boat?

I have a boat with no stereo or wiring for one period. How do I wire the stereo.. ..obviously ground to black ground and red to power red, but what about the remote wire? and any othery memory or led wires. Want to make sure it only turns on and off with the key and doesn't drain my battery. Also do I need to a hook a fuse to anything for it?..Obviously i need insructions clear enough for a rookie and wiring dummy... Thank You

Wire the positive to something that is only hot when the ignition s on, and you should have an in line fuse on the positive wire. If the radio is digital with preset stations, you will need a constant hot from the battery, otherwise your stations will be reset everytime you turn the ignition off. The remote should have a wire harness that plugs into the radio, and goes to the remote. Its not that hard, all radios come with a wiring diagram
