How do I activate my laptops built in webcam?
i have a built in webcam on my acer laptop and i read this book called laptops for dummies and it says that i need a software to activate my cam and use it. what software do i need. the built in webcam didnt come with any instruction or discs about it. my webcam is called youcam and i have windows 7. how do i activate it.
Go to a video chat application, like OMEGLE or Windows Messenger, and start a video chat. It then shows you the option to which camera to use, so choose your camera and it should work just fine. I am pretty sure that book was incorrect, you do not need any software.
