Ableton for the COMPLETE BEGINNER?

Hiya guys just a little about my musical background. I am a pianist and mostly play an upright grand and really have my mind set on the roland stage synthesizer. I have just acquired a copy of ableton live 8 suite and through some videos on youtube i found that music composition seemed very intuitive while using ableton's production compared to pro tools and software of that sort. I have some ideas and would really like to lay them down using ableton but I HAVE NO CLUE HOW. I am looking for some resources for the complete beginner. I haven't a single clue about using software like this and would like for you to keep this in consideration. I have looked at other software including FL studio and things of that sort but since I currently have just ableton to work with and would really like to be able to use this program well to expand my musical horizons.

So to sum it up! I need a dummy's guide to ableton live 8 suite.

There are MANY Ableton tutorials on Youtube. And the best part is they are all free! Also, if you actually purchased your copy of Ableton, you have access to all of the tutorials in the Ableton Forums on their website.
