Maths For Dummies

Can I use a Dummies book to learn math?

For example, Calculus and Calculus II? I can learn from textbooks w/o a professor, but I don't know if Dummies books teach the same topics covered in regular textbooks.

I'm asking because I'm a DIY kind of guy (but not for "everything" if you know what I mean).

I DON'T know the particular book but the best path to learning anything is to go SIMPLE step by simple step. Math being the basic science subject is no different. I taught my daughter to lose her fear of math and become an "A" student when most of her class was having trouble. I believe you can do it.
