4 Steps to Becoming a Network Marketing Pro

Everyone who owns a home-based business wants to become a network marketing pro. After all, the rewards are great: freedom, financial independence, and more time to spend with family. But the road to get to the level of "network marketing pro" can be rocky. In fact, the turnover and failure rate for network marketers is such an incredibly low percentage that it's a wonder most people begin the process of building a business. But, the good news is that it's possibly for anyone to become a network marketing pro. They simply have to forget the "traditional" rules of network marketing and begin to leverage the internet and telephone to grow their organization.

The Four Steps to Becoming a Network Marketing Pro

There are four steps to becoming a network marketing pro. None are easy, but combined, these steps promise far better results than the traditional marketing methods of leveraging your "warm market" of friends and family for success. That route is tired and proves to be unsuccessful for many.

Step One

The first step to becoming a network marketing pro is, of course, to choose the opportunity that is right for you. Choose a product or service that you feel you can stand behind, with a team that will provide the support that you need to get your business going.

Step Two

The second step is to learn all you can about the product or service, and also the company and its history. This is crucial when you are creating your pitch and answering questions from prospects. The more you know, the better you can sell.

Step Three

The third step is to begin learning about lead generation. Instead of depending on family and friends to build your business, invest some time (and possibly money) into learning how to capture warm leads online. This can be done by leveraging SEO and other traffic driving tools to send warm leads to an opt-in page for your opportunity.

Step Four

That leads us to the last step: mastering your pitch and telephone communications. By doing this, it is far easier to convert prospects into recruits over the telephone, saving time, and giving you the ability to recruit members from all over the world.

Ultimately, learning these steps and putting the effort into perfecting your art will prove far more successful than depending on neighbors to be the cornerstone for your business.

UK Pension Transfers Guide For Dummies

Well over 2 million British people currently live overseas, even more are joining them since the new higher tax rate bands were introduced. Most have built up sizable pots of cash held within UK pension schemes. There are millions of others that have worked within the UK and had to invest in UK pension schemes. All these people were inhibited on what they could invest in and on how to move cash out. These pension pots are frozen, unlikely to perform as well as free market schemes.

Typically the pension funds use a very limited range of funds, this is due primarily to the UK government imposing strict rules on where this pension cash can go, no matter what age the person in the scheme it is only possible to invest in equities, certain property, gilts and cash- As a consequence when the equity markets dive, or property values fall then the pension pot also falls, not exactly the best way forward in these volatile times.

Since there were tax incentives to invest in UK pensions the government insists this pension pot is used to purchase an annuity- in effect a monthly income of a set amount for a specific time frame, all based on your age and morbidity tables, should the pensioner die mid stream any balance is then lost to either the government or the scheme provider Not any more, in April 2006 Freedom in the form of new QROPS legislation:, this article confines itself to the benefits, not the actual document which is frankly long winded and hard to grasp.

There are several benefits in transferring your existing frozen pensions to a new International SIPPS or QROPS. Assets are held under a Pension trust and all the assets whilst in the new pension are free of income tax, capital gains tax, wealth tax (IHT) and can be passed onto successors free of any tax including Inheritance tax. You have access to a full spectrum of investment opportunities, all tailored to your risk appetite. These can include equities, property, bonds, fixed deposit, commodities and alternative investments all of which can be managed by investment specialists. You can place monies into cash accounts to meet liquidity requirements or a very low risk investment profile. As your life circumstances change it is a simple matter to switch between investment strategies. Income and capital gains arising from the investments held within the Plan, or benefits paid by the Plan, are not subject to UK tax.

In addition, tax authorities internationally, including Spain, treat Retirement Schemes and annuity income derived from them favourably with typically only the income element of annuity payments attracting income tax. In most cases this reduces significantly the amount of tax on income. The schemes can provide a regular income that can enhance your personal cash flow requirements.

In addition early lump sum capital payments (25% at age 55) can assist in a variety of scenarios from paying off a mortgage to purchasing a major asset. The schemes meet the different requirements of pension legislation in many countries from around the world. This means they will not become obsolete should you move between jurisdictions, and you will not face the hassle of moving assets between providers in order to ensure savings remain tax efficient. The schemes are usually domiciled in The Channel Islands a very favourable jurisdiction both from a political and tax perspective.

Interchange For Dummies

Interchange is the wholesale price (also called discount rate, fee and variations thereof) charged by Visa U.S.A. and MasterCard Worldwide for authorization and settlement of a credit card transaction. For example, a merchant is charged 3.5% of $10.00 is 35 cents. About 80% of those 35 cents (about 28 cents) goes to the issuing bank. The remaining 20% (7cents) is divided among Visa or MasterCard, the processor and the merchant level salesperson (MLS), if there is one. American Express Co., Discover Financial Services, LLC, Diners Club, Inc. and JCB International Credit Card Co., Ltd. Is not part of interchange.

Categorization factors:

• Merchant's industry type: fast food, colleges, warehouses, gas station, Internet merchants, catalog merchants, for instance.

• Type of card processed: traditional credit cards, corporate, rewards based purchasing or check cards.

• How a card is processed: swiped or keyed-in, present or not present.

Bundling and who it's for:

• Bundles categories make it easier for merchants and MLSs to understand the different rate types and how they apply to different merchant Sizes. Small-volume merchants have a comparatively small number of card transactions. These merchants usually will not fall into one of the specialized categories, so bundling makes sense for them.

Bundling or rates also may mean that some or the entire transaction fee is eliminated. For a merchant with few downgrades, bundling often provides the same bottom line as if the merchant had been quoted and set up with every available category.

• Large-volume merchants: These merchants may have more to gain by having an unbundled rate or an "Interchange plus pricing" deal. Each transaction is processed at the best available category. Large-volume merchants who are trained to process their card transactions correctly and are set up properly can ensure that every transaction qualifies for the best available category.

What is downgrading?

Transactions are downgraded when they don't meet interchange requirements, such as not capturing the correct card information at the POS, settling the transaction after a deadline as lapsed or key-entering rather than swiping a card. A downgraded transaction means higher cost for the merchant.

What is AVS?

In an effort to combat fraud that results from non-face-to-face transactions, Visa and MasterCard created the AVS, which attempts to verify the address and zip code of the credit card customer. Whenever a card is key-entered, the processing system should be set up to prompt the merchant to enter the billing ZIP code (for cardholder's billing address) and the numerical portion of the address of the cardholder.

If this information matches the card issuing bank's records, the system will qualify that transaction for an AVS rate category. (Visa also looks for an invoice number.)

Other factors

Transaction qualification is influenced by many factors. Merchants must not only be aware of these factors, but must also understand which factors supersede others. In many cases, the only way to truly know how merchants can minimize interchange costs is to critically examine their bankcard statements.

Going through this analysis with your merchant can be a lengthy process and will require the cooperation of the processor. However, the cost savings to the merchant can make the effort worthwhile.

Baseball for Dummies

I'm writing this article for the person who knows nothing about baseball, the person who doesn't know the difference between the Triple Crown and an unassisted Triple Play. I'm not going to write about the history of baseball so if that's what you want look somewhere else, I'm going to tell you the necessary information so you can sit down on a Saturday afternoon and watch a baseball game. Even if you do know a lot I'm hoping you can learn a little.

Introduction

Baseball is a bat and ball sport played by 2 teams of 9 players a side. The goal of baseball is to score runs by hitting a ball that is thrown by the pitcher and run around the bases. The bases are arranged on the corners of a 90 foot square called the diamond. Players on the batting team take turns hitting while the fielding team tries to get them out. Once a player on the batting team gets on base he can choose to stop in the hope that a teammate will drive him in. The teams switch between batting and fielding when the fielding team gets 3 outs. Once each team gets 3 outs that is an inning, there are 9 innings in a MLB game. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.

Major League Baseball

In the United States and Canada the professional baseball league is called Major League Baseball (MLB.) MLB is divided into 2 leagues, the National League (NL) and the American League (AL) which in turn, are divided into 3 divisions: East, Central and West. To determine the champion of baseball MLB uses an 8 team playoff. The teams that make it are all 6 division winners plus a Wild Card. The wild card is the team with the best record that isn’t a division winner. The first round is best of 5 while the second round and the World Series are best of 7. Each major league team has a farm system of minor league teams at various levels. These teams allow players to gain improve while playing against opponents with a similar skill level.

Equipment and Field

There are 4 basic tools in baseball: the bat, the ball, the mitt and the field

The bat is an offensive tool used by the batter that is either wood or aluminum depending on the league. It is a long stick maybe 35 inches long, 2 inches wide and 35 ounces heavy.

The mitt otherwise known as a glove is worn by the fielding team to assist in catching the ball. Mitts take various shapes and sizes to accommodate the needs of individual positions.

A baseball is about the size of a fist and white with red lacing (Although other colors could be used.)

Baseball is played on a field in which the dimensions vary depending on age. However every field has bases which are arranged on a diamond that offensive payers try to run around counterclockwise. The part of the field closest to the bases is the infield and the part farther away is the outfield.

Game Play

Baseball is played in a series of 9 innings, each of which are divided in to 2 halves, top and bottom. In each half-inning, the offensive team attempts to score runs until three of its players are put out. After the third out, the teams switch roles for the other half of the inning. The home team plays defense first, and so plays defense in the top of every inning and offense in the bottom of every inning. At the beginning of each half-inning, the nine defensive players arrange themselves on the field. One defensive player is called the pitcher and stands at the center of the diamond on a designated spot, called the mound or the rubber. Another defensive player is called the catcher and stands on the other side of home plate from the pitcher. Typically four more players are arranged along the lines between first, second, and third bases, and the other three are in the outfield.

Runs are scored as follows: starting at home plate, each offensive player attempts to earn the right to run to the next base of the diamond, then to touch the base at that corner, continuing on to each following base in order, and finally returning to home, whereupon a run is scored. Often an offensive player will achieve a base but be forced to stop there; on future plays the player may continue to advance, or else be put out.

A play begins with an offensive player called a batter standing at home plate, holding a bat. The batter then waits for the pitcher to throw a pitch (the ball) toward home plate, and attempts to hit the ball with the bat. If the batter hits the ball into play, the batter must drop the bat and begin running toward first base. There are other ways to earn the right to run the bases, such as walks or being hit by a pitched ball. The catcher catches pitches that the batter does not hit (either by choice or simple failure to make contact) and returns them to the pitcher.

If the batter fails to hit a well-pitched ball (one within the strike zone) or if he hits it so that it goes outside of the field of play it is called a strike. However, if the ball is hit over the outfield and exits the field there, it is instead (one type of) a Homerun: the batter and all other offensive players on bases may complete a tour of the bases and score a run.

When a batter begins running, he or she is then referred to as a. Runners attempt to reach a base, where they are safe and may remain there. The runner defensive players attempt to prevent this by putting the runners out using the ball; runners put out must leave the field (returning to the bench or Dugout the location where all the other inactive players and managers observe the game).

There are many ways that the team on defense can get an offensive player out. For the sake of simplicity, only the five most common ways are listed here:

1. The Strikeout: occurs when the batter acquires three strikes before hitting the ball (within the field); the batter never becomes a runner.

2. The Groundout: when the batter hits the ball but a defensive player retrieves it after it has touched the ground and throws it to another defensive player standing on first base before the runner arrives there.

3. The Forceout: occurs when a runner is required to run to advance bases ahead of a teammate's hit but fails to reach it before a defensive player reaches the base with the ball. The "ground out" is actually a special case of "force out."

4. The Flyout: if a defensive player catches a hit ball before it touches the ground, the batter (now a runner) is out (regardless of his location).

5. The Tagout: while between bases, a runner is out if a defensive player touches him with a held ball.

Baseball Statistics

Statistics play an important role in summarizing baseball performance and evaluating players in the sport. Since the flow of baseball has natural breaks to it, the game lends itself to easy record keeping and statistics. This makes comparisons between players' on field performance relatively easy, and therefore gives statistics more importance in baseball than in most other sports. Statistics have been kept for professional baseball since the creation of each league.

What is the best digital camrecorder?

I want to get my husband a cam recorder for Christmas. I know zilch about them. He is an electronics dummy so it has to be very user friendly. He won't be making documentaries, just filming family and friends.
I would like to view the results on our TV and be able to save the movies for future viewing but I don't want to save them on my computer and take up hard drive space. I am also concerned about price since we live on Social Security and don't have big bucks to spend.
Can anybody out there help me by naming a brand and model that would fit my needs? I appreciate your help so much!

Your best bet is to get a camcorder that records to HDV, miniDV, or digital8 tape cassettes. These camcorders can already work with your existing computer and editing program that came on the computer (Windows Movie Maker in Windows and iMovie on the Mac). http://motionpicturecentral.com/forum/post-production/editing/connect-hdv-minidv-and-digital8-camcorders-to-computers-capture-video

Tape cassette are the cheapest recording media, can be stored for a long time, and they are reusable. We use Panasonic AYDVM63PQ Professional grade HDV tape. They are available in packs of 10 for $35 with free shipping from Amazon. This is half the price of lower grade consumer tape at Wal-Mart for $75 per 10.

HDV camcorders can HDV tapes as well as miniDV tapes. They are actually the same tape, and HDV is merely a more robust version of miniDV. MiniDV camcorders can also use HDV tapes as well as miniDV tapes. Digital8 camcorders use digital8 tapes, but they can also use older 8mm and Hi-8 tapes as well.

All of these options store video outside of your computer. The only time you need to transfer the video to your hard drive is for editing. Once editing is complete, you can delete the video on the hard drive and keep the tapes in storage for another editing project or reuse them for another video. http://motionpicturecentral.com/book/video-editing

Please help with TV connections for electronics dummy here?

We just got a Samsung LCD (LNS4692D) with built-in HD (ATSC) tuner and 2 HDMI connections. We also have a Motorola DVR/HD box from Adelphia and an older Sony DVD player, nothing complicated (i.e. no surround sound system). The issue I have with the Samsung TV is I can't get closed caption.
According to Samsung website: "Any video source that is not connected to your TV's RF or Antenna inputs bypasses the TV's Closed Caption decoder. Consequently, if you have a set-top-box, cable box, satellite receiver, or any other video source connected to your TV using Composite video, S-Video, Component video, DVI, or HDMI, you will not be able to access and use the Closed Caption function when you watch TV using that source."
I'm not that good with all the technical stuff but isn't it kinda silly to connect your HD cable box to regular video source, doesn't that make it not high-def? My question is what can I do to get the best quality picture and closed caption too? Thanks.

Well, it does seem silly to bypass your HD connections, that's correct.

But you shouldn't have to.

The instructions are telling you that the tv can't decode captioning from anything other than tv broadcasts OTA.

However, most of your other sources DO provide captioning. You need to enable these captions through the setup features of the individual units. In other words, your DVD player will have a menu selection to enable captions, and will send the captions to the tv through the component/DVI/HDMI port. The DVD player is doing it, not the tv. Likewise, your cable box should have a similar setup selection (I know my Dish receiver does, for example).

So, use the setup menus of your sources to enable captioning.

Payroll For Dummies

[simpleaffiliate source="chitika" results="0"][/simpleaffiliate]

Modern POS Accounting Software

Accounting software is an application software that records and processes accounting transactions within functional modules such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and trial balance. It functions as an accounting information system. It may be developed in-house by the company or organization using it, may be purchased from a third party, or may be a combination of a third-party application software package with local modifications. It varies greatly in its complexity and cost. Like most small business owners, you are likely excited about your product or service and enjoy working with your customers. However, when it comes to accounting and managing the tiny details of your company, you may feel frustrated and overwhelmed. The best accounting software can help you manage the details of your small business, improve client relations and streamline routine tasks with relatively few headaches.

Accounting software is typically composed of various modules, different sections dealing with particular areas of accounting. Among the most common are:

Accounts receivable

Accounts payable

General ledger

Billing

Stock/Inventory

Purchase Order

Sales Order

Cash Book

There is a lot to think about when it comes to considering accounting software, but it is worth thinking about since you will be working with it every day. We have compared a wide variety of accounting software here to help you find the right one to help you run your business.

Accounting software is computer software sold to end consumers, usually under restricted licenses. Until the emergence of the Internet, retail software represented.

The most famous examples of accounting software are the products offered on the accupos.com including famous programs.

Accounting software is a specialized form of sales promotion that is found near, on, or next to a checkout counter (the "point of sale"). They are intended to draw the customer's attention to products, which may be new products, or on special offer, and are also used to promote special events, e.g. seasonal or holiday-time sales. POS displays can include shelf edging, dummy packs, display packs, display stands, mobiles, posters, and banners. POS can also refer to systems used to record transactions between the customer and the commerce.

The rise of the Internet and software licensing schemes has dramatically changed the Accounting software market. Users are capable of finding shareware, freeware and free software products or use Web services as easily as retail. Producers of Accounting software have shifted to providing much of their software and services via the Internet, including Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, and Apple Inc. Software is also becoming available as part of an integrated device. This is a licensed copy of software given by the software manufacturer to a computer manufacturer to pre-install on a computer being sold to a customer. A backup copy may or may not be provided on a CD to the end user along with the computer.

Reverse Mortgage For Dummy - Availing of a Reverse Mortgage on a Farm

The passing of the American Homeownership and Economic Opportunity Act of 2000 has provided senior citizen in the United States a sense of finance stability and control as they live out their remaining years in comfort while being able to acquire their basic needs such as medical and health care.  While there have been many articles and websites that have been published providing information about reverse mortgages, these articles have focused on the assumption that the property that you live in is either a single house, an apartment or a condominium unit.  But what if your property is a farm?  Will that make you eligible to take out a reverse mortgage?  The answer is yes.

One of the basic requirements needed to be met by a senior citizen who is considering to take out a reverse mortgage is that the property equity to be used is a fixed type of property.  This includes a farm.  Financial institutions and creditors offer not just home reverse mortgages but farm reverse mortgages as well.  The only difference between the two is the property whose equity will be liquidated and paid to the senior citizen taking out a reverse mortgage.  In this case, the appraiser would check on the equity value of your farm which is derive from deducting any existing loan or mortgage made against the farm from the fair market value of your farm.  Upon the approval of your farm reverse mortgage, you would be able to choose how the funds would be awarded to you.  You can have the option of receiving the funds in a lump sum or through monthly installments.  If you are currently maintaining an insurance policy or have any existing loans, you can also request the funds from the farm reverse mortgage to be used as a form of payment towards your insurance premiums or outstanding loan or mortgage following the schedule of payment you have arranged with your insurance company and creditor.

Although you may be having a steady flow of income, getting a reverse mortgage offers senior citizens a number of benefits that other mortgage or loan plans offered by financial institutions and creditors cannot provide.  One particular benefit which has made reverse mortgages highly favorable is the fact that no repayments are needed to be made to the financial institution or creditor.  This is applicable up to such a time that the borrower would decide to sell the property and move out.  Only then will the financial institution or creditor require the borrower to repay the funds in order to restore the original equity value of the home, or in this case, the farm.

Another benefit provided by farm reverse mortgages is that you do not lose ownership on your farm.  The reason for including your farm in the contract you would need to agree to with the financial institution or creditor is because it is the equity value of your farm that would be liquidated and awarded to you through the farm reverse mortgage.

There are a number of reasons why despite the fact that some senior citizens are able to still have a steady source of income to take out a farm reverse mortgage.  One of this is that the amount could be used to finance some improvements on the farm which would, in turn, allow you to generate more profit while increasing the equity value of your farm.  Another reason is to ensure coverage for healthcare and medical care.  As one becomes older, the premiums needed to be remitted for health and life insurance increases.  Instead of having to budget the current income being generated in the farm, many senior citizens would take out a reverse mortgage to shoulder the premium payments in order to ensure that are covered.

Earth Science For Dummies

[simpleaffiliate source="chitika" results="0"][/simpleaffiliate]
earth science for dummies
What implications does the photon belt present us and when, if at all, does Earth enter the belt?

I've heard and read some things about the photon belt, but none of it is conclusive. Some sources say that the extreme concentration of photon energy will disrupt all electrical devices on Earth and some sources say it will push Earth into an estheric (spelling?) dimension. Other sources say that it will take the Earth 2000 years to move through this belt and then other sources say that we have already entered the photon belt. Other sources are just ridiculous. To be honest, I still don't know what the photon belt is exactly and whether it holds any implications for life on Earth at all. How big is this belt and how did it form? How long will it last and has the Earth ever passed through it before? If so, how long does one cycle last? I need someone to really dumb this down for me; like a "Photon belt for dummies" book. No rocket science please.

There is no such THING as the PHOTON BELT. In fact it is actually a theory. The only thing like that is a solar flare from the sun. Photons are particles of light and energy and wouldn't effect anything on Earth.
PS, the photon belt is actually a band of energy from the sun, ie, although it is theoretical I still know a bit about it although it is very little. The sun gives off solar flares but theoretically it gives off a rounded wave or a blast wave that slows down and this band is invisible and orbits around the sun. It isn't actually to do with photons, it is to do with energy although it is on the electromagnetic light spectrum. It contains electrons but is relative to and is related to plasma and energy physics this effects the Earth the same way as a solar flare does so the "solar wave" or the so called "photon belt" physically a belief of when all equipment went and goes down.

How Do I Help My Baby To Sleep Better?

Sleeping problems are often caused by poor sleeping associations created unknowingly by parents. A sleep association is something that a baby learns that signals sleep to them. But this is easily corrected, especially when they are still a few months old. Sleep is a high priority for all new parents. As every parent knows, the early days can be really difficult, as babies are up every few hours in the night looking for a feed. Some babies sleep really well from the outset, but these children are rare indeed. The majority of parents experience difficulties with sleep deprivation, and unfortunately for some, this can last well into the toddler years and beyond. So how do you create a better sleeping environment for your baby? There are lots of things you can do to help create the right sleep associations and avoid the bad ones. A sleep association is essentially what the baby associates with going to sleep - in other words it is a learned response. Babies are clever because they get to know these associations by repitition - the more you do a certain behaviour before they sleep, the more they associate that behaviour with sleep itself. So for example, if you always bath the baby before bedtime, they will get to know in time that bathtime signals sleep time. The trick is to create sleep associations which work without reliance on the parent to help the child to sleep, Some examples of poor sleep associations includes: - rocking baby to sleep - holding baby to sleep - patting/stroking baby - nursing or feeding baby to sleep - use of a dummy Why are these poor sleep associations? Because they work by allowing the baby to rely on either you or a pacifier to help them sleep. This creates long-term problems because each time your child wakes at night, they will require your assistance to help put them back to sleep. Imagine you always rock baby to sleep. As wonderfully nurturing as it seems, what will you do when the child gets older and heavier and puts pressure on your back because you are struggling to rock your toddler to sleep - something that can take an hour or so in some cases? The best solution is creating sleep associations that do NOT rely on you to help them sleep. These can include: - creating a routine - winding down - dimming the lights and speaking softly - placing tired baby in cot in the dark and calming them down by speaking softly and not picking them up - differentiating between night and day - removing the dummy before baby falls asleep - never allowing baby to sleep in your arms - always let baby sleep in the cot These are just some suggestions, but there are many other things you can and should do to improve sleep. If you stick to your guns, you should see an improvement in sleep patterns within a week, and certainly within two weeks. With older children, you may need to resort to sleep training methods to help them sleep soundly. Learning the correct behaviour takes time, but the above mentioned ideas are the best way to help a newborn learn the correct sleep habits that will set them up for a lifetime.

Debits And Credits For Dummies

Credit card advice for Dummies?!?

I'm thinkin about applying for a credit card, I've never had one before and don't have an overdraft or any other kind of debt. Thing is i'm planning to go travelling at the end of the year and it would be helpful for me to have a visa as my debit card doesn't work everywhere.
Also i think i must have quite a poor credit rating as i've moved houses alot all my life and was refused an overdraft. I know capital one offer cards for those with poor credit but their interest seems huge!
...Not that i really understand any of it so would like know how it all works...the interest and how much i would be paying back...Its really confusing!
I earn just over £800 a month minimum (sometimes am offered overtime).
Any advice welcome except those that just say 'Don't do it!'
...i need some real information.

Ta!
oh also...can i get cash out on all credit cards?

Hi sweets well each to their own but my personal point of view is when you spend £500 on a credit card then pay the miniumum payments of (example £15 per month) the credit card company then slap interest on top of the money you have borrowed thus causing an ever spirriling tumble towards debt. As with all credit cards the concept of having one is great as you can buy that case of Wine, pay the deposit on the holiday but remember you are paying a loan company whom charge interest. Best option is to speak with your bank whom may upgrade your existing debit card to a visa debit or switch card which can be used worldwide. Yes i have a credit card but very very rarely use exept emergency 0% owed on card means 0% interest dont get a card then start spending or if you are sure you want one Vanquish is quite good you can control your limit You can request a maximum limit of £250 untill you see fit to higher or lower the limit you can manage. Well good luck and please be careful and consider the consequenses of debt...... Debt is easy to get into but hard to get out of....

Force Your Spouse To Answer Your Questions About Marital Assets Through Discovery

Copyright (c) 2010 Lucille Uttermohlen

It is not hard to get the short end in divorce court if you don't know everything about your debts and assets. If you don't have the documents you need to prove your case, the judge may have no choice but to make her decision from the information, false or not, she gathers from your spouse's testimony.

If you are extremely rich, and haven't been married very long, it may be possible to squirrel away assets and have your spouse be none the wiser. Your frequent travels to the Cayman Islands or Switzerland may be so common as to not arouse suspicion when you are quietly transferring your vast fortune to dummy accounts under fake names. If you are that well off, chances are pretty good you'll never be one of my clients. Most of us have to work for a living, and don't have high class problems like where to get the Mercedes or Jag detailed, or whether the cook can find the specially cured caviar we enjoyed on the Riviera last season. However, this doesn't mean that spouses don't hide assets from each other. Here is what your lawyer or you can do to make sure you're not victimized by the fact that you once said "I do" to a sneak.

Ask for "discovery". When you sue someone, whether it be for damages because of a personal injury, or because your marriage contract is no longer tenable, you will have to prove what you believe by a "preponderance" of the evidence. This means that there has to be a 51% chance that what you are saying is true for the judge to declare it as fact.

Discovery is the process of formally asking for the information you need that is possessed by the other side. You can get copies of bank statements, credit card receipts, tax returns, or any other document that you need to prove your case. You can "propound interrogatories" which simply means that you can write the questions you have and force your spouse to answer your inquiries under oath. You can also "depone" your spouse. This means you can make her answer questions under oath orally, with a court reporter, to record exactly what she said. If she says something different in court, you have proof that she isn't telling the truth.

Finally, you can force people with the information you need to appear and testify at your hearing. You will have to pay them for their time if they are professional, like accountants, appraisers or counselors. You will have to reimburse them for gas and mileage no matter who they are if they aren't willing to testify for you and you have to force them to come. However, once you have issued a subpoena, they have to appear. If they don't, they are in contempt of the court, and can even go to jail for not being there when they were called.

If you think the location or value of property will be an issue in your divorce, you should hire an attorney to protect you. Your lawyer will know what documents will best make your point, and will also know what the court can do if your spouse doesn't cooperate. However, you should bear in mind that discovery adds to the cost of your divorce case, and should not be used lightly. This is to say, you don't want to pay to have your spouse provide information you already have and can prove without his help.

Six Keys To Business Success And Wealth Creation With Billionaire Bill Bartmann

There are six things Bill Bartmann has used through the course of his lifetime to create massive business success and long-term wealth creation.  They've helped him go from places most people couldn't imagine to the other extreme, also places most people couldn't imagine.  The six things are simple, but they are actually profound when you implement them.

1. The first thing is you have to think big.  Most people think they'll increase their business 10%, that's not thinking big, that's thinking small. If you're a Fortune 500 company already, 10 or 15% might be enough.  But if you are a mom and pop company, 15% will take you forever to get there.  Bill Bartmann grew my company 15,000% for four years—not 15%, 15,000%.  He was one of the Ink 500 fastest growing companies in America four years in a row.  It's because he not only had amazing employees who did great things, but because he followed principle number one—he thought big. We weren't intimidated by the prospect that we were going to grow a company to a certain percentage.  Did we think it would be 15,000%?  No, we didn't say that. It isn't necessary that you are that specific on the percentile.  What is important is that you are willing to think big, that you be willing to stretch your imagination.

2. You have to believe in yourself.  You have to have the confidence that you can accomplish this absurd, wild-eyed goal you've set for yourself.  You have to believe that you have the capacity, the competency, and that you really can accomplish it.  That's why Bill Bartmann spent so much of time teaching business people how to raise their level of self confidence and self esteem.  Only when you have an internal confidence and feel good about who you are, can you accomplish those goals.  Have a confidence that you're not afraid to tackle your goals.  Unless you have that internal confidence, can find it or a way to get it, you're going to have a real challenge in front of you.

3. Sharing the vision.  Telling people what you want to do creates a wonderful environment where most people will want to help us.  People are good and want to help others.  They are solid, decent people, and if they know what you want out of life, they'll help you to the extent they can.  If everybody you came in contact with helped a little, passed on information, or referred you to someone they know, or share something that will be helpful to you, it would be a great asset.  They can't do that if you haven't shared with them your vision. Otherwise, how will they know to refer you, or to give you some advice?  It is crucial that you share the vision. That isn't just to outsiders, it's also with every one of your employees. If they know, it's amazing what they will bring to the table.

4. Execute.  Execute the decision.  Do it.  Get off the couch.  Don't just daydream and think about it.  There's a popular book and movie called The Secret, which is good, but they left people dangling a bit. It left people believing that they could wish for and envision something and it would just happen.  That won't happen just by osmosis; no, we have to think about it and execute.  We have to get off the couch and do something.  Years ago, Bill Bartmann was in a negotiation with a guy who is famous for running a great bank and doing it well.  He is a really smart guy and good businessman.  One of the statements he made is that when it came to the business plan for his bank, he could leave it sitting on an airline seat and his competitor could pick it up and he wouldn't worry about it. The plan was good and important, but he knew it wasn't the plan—it was the execution. Most of the people who see your plan can know what you're going to do, but they're never going to get there. They're never going to start.  If you don't get off the couch and do something with those first three keys of success, not much will happen. These six keys are important, but remember this one, because if you don't execute, nothing will happen and you will never have the wealth creation power you want.

5. Focus. Focus is where people begin to strive and get to where they want to go. When you get off the couch and start doing, sometimes you get lost. In order to be really successful, you have to choke it in, focus, concentrate like a laser beam and say that you want to be really, really good at one thing.  You want to do one thing so well that you will be the best at it, whatever it is.  When you narrow in your focus and become really, really good at that thing, it's amazing how good you will become.  Look at Starbucks.  It's coffee. There has been coffee for hundreds of years, and they took it and said, we are going to do coffee better than anybody.  They got where they are by focusing on one thing.  Look at anyone who has accomplished something big; you don't know them because they've done a bunch of things.  You know them because they did one thing very, very well.  Zone in on the one thing you want to do.  Don't let the noise and chatter of life get in your way.

6. Never give up.  You have a goal and confidence. You've shared the vision and you've gotten off the couch and executed. You're moving forward, and you're choking in on it and focusing on the one thing that you can do better than anyone else.  Then, you get to number six.  Don't ever give up.  No matter how well you've done the first five, or how smart you are, there's going to be something that will derail you.  It happens.  We should live in a world where we aren't worried about tomorrow, where we aren't concerned about what's going to happen.  Because no matter what comes down the pike, or whatever happens, whatever obstacles get in our way, we know that we are not going to give up.  If we believe in ourselves and our vision, and focus on it, we should be able to climb over any obstacle.

All the great people, the leaders and people we model after, have had challenges, adversity, problems, and mistakes.  They all had one thing in common—they didn't give up. They didn't quit when the going got tough.  Things happen in business every single day, but you have to get past it and get over it if you want to succeed.  If you let those things beat you, you lose.  Conversely, if you don't relent and don't give up, you win.  If you do all five keys to success, and give up the first time it gets challenging or don't have the answer, then you will still lose.

These six things have taken Bill Bartmann from bankruptcy to massive wealth creation as a billionaire.  You know his story.  It isn't a question of intelligence.  It's only the things that happen inside your head that matter.  You have these six tools.  Each one of them is entirely up to you, no one else.  Your success is entirely up to you.

A Brief Look At Dome Cameras For Surveillance

Anyone who has perused the racks and aisles of a modern department store will already recognize the standard dome camera. This is a ceiling mounted camera that can easily tilt, pan, or zoom in a 360? direction in order to provide the ultimate in security. It is usually housed within a plastic bubble that makes it impossible to see exactly where the lens is pointed at any given time. This makes it quite risky for someone to attempt to steal or pocket goods since they have no idea whether or not the security team or the cameras are watching them at any given moment.

Surveillance with dome cameras is also something that can be put to use outside of the retail environment, however, and many homes and businesses employ them for round the clock services too.

While a majority of such equipment is actually hard wired to the building or can be accessed via some sort of wireless connection, there are also some savvy home and business owners who opt to use a dome camera dummy instead. This is usually a well-made copy of a traditional dome camera only it is missing all of the gadgets and electronics that send the signal to a monitor or recording system. Most such devices will require either a battery or some sort of wiring to enable them to display a small indicator light or to pan slowly in order to give the impression that they are functional. Do these deceive would-be thieves or criminals? According to contemporary statistics, most criminals will not even attempt theft at a home or business where a security system is in place, which means that the visible camera is going to be a successful deterrent whether it is real or not.

The reasons that both real and artificial surveillance with dome cameras is such a popular choice are many, and one of the standard reasons that people elect to use them is the fact that they reside under the protective covering of the dome. This is usually fabricated from a shatterproof or durable material that makes the camera useable in a wide array of environments. For instance, a dome camera dummy might be mounted at the back or cargo entry of a warehouse in order to fool off some criminals, or a real dome camera could be mounted on the exterior of a home in order to document people illegally entering a lawn or swimming pool area.

Success In Home Based Business Franchise takes a little work. One of the fastest ways to get free traffic and or advertising to your home based business, website or opportunity is to simply create informative articles and post them on high page rank article directories. How should You Write Your Article?

Why Should You Give Post Your Articles On Free Directories?

Ask yourself how much would you pay to include an ad in a e zine newsletter or a website that gets 1000 to 100,000 hits a day? The answer is somewhere between $5 to $500 a week! I think you'd rather have your ad placed there free, right? The financial rewards are incredible! Take a look below at the bottom of this article. You see, plain as day, my resource box with "Anchor Text" that leads directly to my affiliate marketing website, therefore increasing my Search Engine ranking and traffic as people, just like yourself are reading this and then going to my site as you probably will.

I am someone who owns multiple websites, publishes several newsletters, and does Affiliate Marketing so I can definitely vouch for this. I'm constantly searching article directories, looking for quality information that will help my visitors. And, every article I use from these resources gets published with my information and a link to mu site, as you can see below in my author's resource box.

What Can You Put In The Author's Author Bio Box?
